We live in paradise here in the Village by the Sea, and most Delray Beach locals will agree that there’s nothing better than having a great meal or cocktail while enjoying a stunning view. Here are some of our favorite Delray Beach restaurants with an intracoastal or ocean view!
Situated adjacent to the Atlantic Avenue Bridge, Deck 84 is the perfect place to spend a day relaxing and watching the boats go by as you enjoy a cold cocktail and some of the best fish tacos in town. The restaurant’s design embraces the Florida resort lifestyle, with playful aquatic blue and vibrant orange hued interiors and a tiki-style bar on the patio.
From the second floor of 50 Ocean, diners can gaze out at the Atlantic Ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows as they dine on fresh seafood for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Reminiscent of the Florida of old, mixed with the class of its Palm Beach roots, 50 Ocean brings it all together with an inviting, laidback but luxurious, atmosphere.
Located in Delray Sands Resort on a quiet stretch of sandy shoreline between Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Latitudes offers both outdoor and indoor seating with ocean views.
The design inspiration for Latitudes was “bubbles,” with a custom hand-blown glass bubble chandelier at the entrance and shades of blues and grays that match the sea and waves outside. If you’re sitting at the inside bar at night, you’ll also notice the glass windows are actually panels filled with water that bubbles.
The best time to check out Latitudes is for their Sunday brunch, which features bottomless mimosas, breakfast favorites, an omelet station, slow-roasted meats, a seafood bar, hot entrees and a huge assortment of desserts.
